Candidates can apply for Direct Entry with either HND, ND, JUPEP, IJMB or IGCSE (A-LEVEL).

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates who participated in the 2017/2018 UTME examination and scored 180 and above may also be considered for admission irrespective of their choice of institution.

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY TRAINING
Computer proficiency training and test will be conducted for all applicants.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

a. Application forms are available on-line on payment of application fee of ₦10,000.00 and Technology fee of ₦2,500.00 only.

b. Candidates are expected to register on the Centre’s website: www.lodlc.lautech.edu.ng
by completing and submitting the on-line application form.

c. In completing the on-line application form, candidates are required to upload a scanned passport photograph with white background showing ears, no cap and no glasses.

FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC NEKEDE HND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The entry requirements for all Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes are as follows:

•Candidates are required to possess National Diploma in their chosen programme from recognized/accredited Polytechnic or Monotechnic.

•Candidates are also to possess at list five (5) relevant O’ level creadits including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sitting in WACE/NECO or NABTEB (O’ level Examinations).

• Candidates are required to have at least one year or two years post National Diploma Industrial Training Experience.
For details on the entry requirement peculiar to each of the Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes, candidates should visit the Polytechnic website www.fpno.edu.ng.

Please NOTE that candidates with Nov/Dec O’ level result of year of admission for ND part-time programmes are not qualified to apply.

JAMB 2017 STATISTICS | TOP 15 COURSES APPLIED FOR BY JAMBITES

Landmark University Admission Requirements.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The minimum entry requirements for admission into Landmark University are credit passes in 5 subjects at the SSCE/GCE O’ Level/NECO/NABTEB or its equivalent obtained at not more than two sittings. The subjects passed must include English Language, Mathematics and other subjects relevant to the proposed course of study.

UTME PREREQUISITES
Candidates applying to Landmark University should note the following:

i) Candidates must have sat for the current year Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and attained the prescribed cut-off marks as a statutory requirement for entry into Nigerian Universities.

Candidates are advised to conduct themselves in a proper and orderly manner during the examination.

  Candidates are reminded that the Examination Malpractice Act 2004 provides penalties for persons convicted of examination malpractice. Therefore any acts of examination malpractice should be avoided.

    Candidates stand to be automatically disqualified in the event of impersonation, disturbances at examination halls, failure to obey lawful orders of supervisors/invigilators, forgery of Identification Slip.


OFFER OF ADMISSION

To gain admission into the College, applicants must attain an acceptable pass level in the entrance examination, in addition to possessing the required entry grades and other entry requirements spelt out by the respected school/programme to which admission is sought.

Health Promotion & Education (Diploma)
        Course Duration: 2 years
Entry Requirement:Applicants for the programme must possess five (5) credit passes in GCE, SSCE, NECO or Grade 11, must include English Language, Biology and three science subjects including (Chemistry, Physics, Health Science, Integrated Science, General Science, Nutrition).
          
For the certificate in Health Education, the prospective applicant must possess five (5) passes in GCE, SSCE, NECO, Grade 11, NABTECH, which must include English Language, Biology and other three subjects including (Chemistry, Health Science, Nutrition, Physics, General Science or Integrated Science).
 
  Holders of Environmental Health Assistant (EHA), Junior Community Health Extension Worker, (JCHEW), Medical Laboratory Assistants (MLA), Dental Surgery Assistants (DSA), Certificate Health Education (CHE) and Pharmacy Assistants Certificate (PAC), who have the basic requirements for Diploma, and one year post qualification experience, can be admitted into 200 level of the HPE programme.
  
Emergency Medical Technician (Diploma)
        Course Duration: 3 years

2017 JAMB UTME REGISTRATION EXTENDED TO MAY 28TH. READ DETAILS HERE!

The Registrar, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, yesterday in Lagos disclosed that JAMB’s portal for registration has not closed, adding that it will finally close its registration portal on 28th May.

He said that he got the mandate from the Senate few weeks ago to increase the UTME registration period by one month, which according to him will elapse on 28th of May.

JAMB is releasing the results of the 2017 Computer based Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted today batch by batch.

The graphical result is being sent to candidates via SMS at the end of each day’s exam. Note that the scores will be sent to candidates who provided correct phone numbers during registration.
Thereafter, the results would be uploaded online on the Jamb e-facility portal.

JAMB 2017 RESULT IS OUT|CHECK YOURS -www.jamb.org.ng

This to inform the general public that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board ( JAMB ), has release the results of the 2017 Computer based Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination ( UTME ) conducted today batch by batch.

The graphical result is being sent to candidates via SMS at the end of each day’s exam. Note that the scores will be sent to candidates who provided correct phone numbers during registration.

Thereafter, the results would be uploaded online on the Jamb e-facility portal.

To check the 2017 Jamb Utme result online, follow the steps outlined below;

Enter the E mail and Password you used for Jamb profile in the space provided;

Click on your Login and wait for the page to load;

Your Jamb profile homepage will now open;

GCE 2017 REGISTRATION PROCEDURE


The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has announced the sale of its WAEC GCE form for 2017/2018. The WAEC GCE registration commences on Friday, 28 2017 and closes on July 28, 2017.
The GCE form cost 13,950 Naira. Candidates are also expected to pay 500 Naira extra to the banks or accredited agents for the WAEC GCE pin and information VCD.
Where to buy WAEC GCE pin
The pin will be used for the registration. When you purchase the WAEC GCE pin, you will be given an information VCD. The pin can be gotten at the following banks nationwide;

HOW TO REGISTER FOR WAEC-GCE EXAMINATION
After purchasing the pin from the places stated above, candidates can visit WAEC website at www.waeconline.org to complete registration. Please note that biometrics capturing will be done during registration. The computer used for registration should have a biometric capturing device.
WAEC GCE candidates can also go to Cybercafes/Business centers in their neighborhood for registration if they do not have the devices for online registration.
Candidates who have any form of disability or impairment will also register online like other candidates but it must be clearly stated the kind of disability while filling the form.
Candidates should also make sure that the Names, date of birth, gender, subjects, passport photographs and every other information are filled correctly. Wrong information will affect such candidates in the future and will require extra charges for correction. Check our WAEC frequently asked questions post to know more about this.

WALK-IN-CANDIDATES
Walk-in candidates are candidates who wish to register just one or two subjects to complete a previous exam they have written. The price for Walk-in candidates WAEC GCE form is 25,000 naira. Candidates in this category can register not less than 24 hours to the scheduled time of the paper (s) they intend to write.
Candidates are expected to collect their WAEC GCE photo card after registration is complete. The photo card can also be sent to an email address or google drive for backup/future reference.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR WAEC GCE FORM
1. Examination fees are not refundable after purchase.
2. Candidates should view the VCD they were given after purchase of pin before they register for the examination.
3. Candidates should ensure they print the examination Timetable at the completion of their registration. This is to ensure they know their exam date and time.
4. Entries must be uploaded with good quality passport size photographs, not “wait and get” photographs. The background of such photographs MUST NOT BE BLUE OR RED. The size should be 275 by 314 pixels. Entries with unacceptable passport photographs will be rejected.
5. Candidates should go through the WAEC GCE Syllabuses and regulations as well as the Timetable for the examination which they can download from WAEC’s website www.waeconline.org.ng using their registration PIN.
6. Candidates should go to the exam hall with mufti. Uniforms of any kind are not allowed
7. The whole results of candidates who sit for the exam in more than one center will be seized.
8. Smoking and alcohol are not allowed in the examination hall.
9. Candidates that come into the examination hall with a mobile phone, electronic or communication gadgets will have his/her entire results canceled.
10. All candidates must ensure that their entries are correctly uploaded, as the Council will not be held responsible for errors in candidates’ particulars. request for correction will be entertained on any information which a candidate voluntarily gives at the point of registration as soon as the examination commences.
11. Candidates must come into the examination hall with their original photo cards.
12. Candidates who engage in examination malpractice will not only have their results canceled but may be prosecuted.

UNIBEN Diploma in Maritime & ICT Admission Form – 2017/18

The University of Benin, Benin City, has a Centre for Maritime Studies, Information and Communication Technology (ICT). This Centre, runs a two-year Full-Time Diploma in Maritime Studies, Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The course has adequate professional and academic content, to produce manpower for the promotion of staff proficiency, capacity building and performance in the Sea Ports, Shipping, Oil and ICT sectors of the economy for middle and top management positions.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Full-Time Two-Year Diploma in Maritime Studies, Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

COURSE BENEFIT
  Graduates from the Centre shall acquire both academic and practical knowledge to be employed directly into Sea Ports, Shipping, Oil, Custom Services, and other Agencies in maritime and ICT industries.
   
  The Diploma in Maritime Studies and ICT is recognized as a direct entry qualification in the University of Benin into 200 level for all Engineering programmes and degree programme in the Faculty of Science (Computer Science, Mathematics (Pure and Applied), Industrial Mathematics, Mathematics with Physics, Mathematics with Chemistry, Statistics with Computer Science, Physics, Geology and Industrial Physics), Faculty of Education (Department of Vocational and Technical Education) and Library Studies and similar institutions in the country.
    Programme would also serve as capacity building for the academic and professional enhancement of persons with innate maritime culture and tradition.

LECTURE PERIODS
Lectures shall take place from Monday to Friday between the hours of 2.00 and 6.00pm.

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING
Students must undertake and pass a three-month industrial training period between the first and second years of the programme.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
    Credit in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject at GCE/WASE/SSCE/NABTEB/NECO
    City and Guilds (Part 1) in any area of Engineering
    A qualification equivalent to any of the above.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates should visit the website www.uniben.edu, then click on waeup portal and click on Application to initiate the online application process by printing application fee slip of the sum of N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) and then proceed to any Commercial Bank of their choice to make the payment through Interswitch platform.  Thereafter, candidates are expected to go back to the same website to complete their application online.

Candidates should ensure that forms are clearly filled with all information required on or before 31st August, 2017.  Any application Form not properly filled will not be treated.

Closing date of application is 31st August, 2017.

JAMB CORRECTION OF NAME, PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH, UTME SUBJECT COMBINATION, CHOICES OF INSTITUTIONS/COURSES AND DATE OF BIRTH NOW AVAILABLE!

This is to inform all the candidates who made mistakes while filling their forms in the ongoing Registration that they can now make corrections for the following categories:

NB: Changes for Name, Course/Institution, Passport and Date of Birth are 2500. Change for UTME subject is FREE!

Login to your profile, on the dashboard, click on UTME Registration Data Correction to make payment. Only Approved CBT Centres are allowed to make these changes. Payment can be done via Remita before proceeding to the Centres.

The window for correction UTME subjects combination is now available and closes by 10pm on Friday May 12, 2017.

Please note that if your Examination date is Saturday May 13, 2017 and you correct your UTME subjects, you won’t be able to write your exam on that date again.

A new Examination date and time shall be communicated to you at a later time. The change in date of Examination does not affect other Examination dates

OAU JUPEB ADMISSION FORM , Get Admitted Directly Into 200 level 2017/2018

Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Obafemi Awolow0 University (OAU) Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme for 2017/2018 Session.

Alternatively, you can also pay the application fee through Interswitch Webpay Platform using your ATM or Debit Card .

2. Go to OAUCDL website: (www.oaucdl.edu.ng) and Click on: “ JUPEB Programme ” and read the Instruction carefully. Create your account by clicking on “Apply Now!” . You are to supply valid username, password, email address and other required information.

3. After creating the Account, login back into your Account with your username and password.

4. Click on your preferred Payment Method (either e-tranzact or
Interswitch Webpay) .

5. Fill the online Application Form and upload your recent passport photograph. The passport photograph must meet the following specifications:
The passport photograph must be coloured with white background (Black and white photograph is not acceptable).
The passport must be recent (not earlier than 3 Months before the time of the application) and the size should not be more than 100KB.

6. After filling the form, logout and keep your username and password safe. (Save your Username and Password on your Phone so as not to forget).
